PETROL CHAIN SAW FOR TREE SERVICE USER MANUAL
1) Place the chain saw on a stable surface.
- Check that the area around the guide bar
and the chain is free from any object.
2) Push the lever (C) forward until it engages in
the choke position. (fig.31 item 1).
Do not operate the throttle lever (B).
8) Continue to pull the cord handle until the en-
gine is started.
Let the engine turn for at least 15 seconds (to
pre-heat it).
9) Hold and briefly depress the throttle lever
(fig.34 item B) to ensure the engine continues
to run at idle speed.
Release the brake lever by pulling it towards the
handle (fig.36).
10) Do not use the chain saw if the
chain (with the brake disengaged) is
moving at idle speed. Take it to a service centre
for repairs.
11) Do not move and transport the
chain saw with the engine running. If
the chain saw is transported, cover the guide
bar with the guard supplied.

3) Fully depress 4 or 5 times the primer bulb (fig.
32).
4) Do not operate the throttle lever (B) fig.34.
5) Lock the chain saw in position as shown in
fig.33.
Firmly hold the chain saw handle with your right
hand (fig.33 - 1) and rest your right knee on the
filter box (fig.33 - 2).
6) Pull hard the starter cord handle until the first
engine starting noises are heard (fig.33 - 3).
TAKE CARE as the chain may
move.
7) Pull the lever backwards to the open air po-
sition (I) (fig.34);
