DUO plus
Please observe the following list of vehicles in case of installation with ISOFIX.
Furthermore, our
DUO plus
can be installed in all vehicles that have an ISOFIX
and top tether anchoring system -> see 1. Please observe the specifications on this
in your vehicle manual.
The
DUO plus
is approved for three different methods of installation:
1.
"Universal"
with ISOFIX fastening
and top tether*
• This is an ISOFIX child restraint
system. It is approved in accordance
with ECE R 44/04 for general use in
vehicles equipped with ISOFIX anchoring
systems.
• It will fit on all vehicle seats approved as
ISOFIX seats (as explained in the vehicle
owner’s manual), depending on the weight
class of the child seat and the ISOFIX size
category.
• The weight class and the ISOFIX size
category provided for this child restraint
system is B1 (9 - 18 kg).
* If you have purchased a DUO plus without top tether, you can
have it retrofitted. Your authorised retailer has the required
accessories.
2.
"Vehicle-specific"
with ISOFIX fastening
This is an ISOFIX child restraint
system. It is approved in accordance with ECE
R 44/04 (vehicle-specific category) with
ISOFIX
fastening
only in vehicles which are listed in the
following vehicle type list and equipped with the
ISOFIX anchoring system.
• This type list is constantly updated. The latest
version can be obtained from us or from our
homepage: www.britax.eu / www.roemer.eu
3.
"Universal"
with the vehicle's 3-
point seatbelt
This means: The child car seat is universally
approved for installation using the tested
3-
point automatic seatbelt
(in accordance with
ECE R 16 or comparable standard) in all
vehicles.
• This is a "universal" child restraint system. It
is approved in accordance with ECE R 44/04
for general use in vehicles and will fit most,
although not all, vehicle seats.
• The correct installation described by the
vehicle manufacturer in the owner's manual
presumably refers to the vehicle's suitability
for a "universal" child restraint system for this
age group.
• This child restraint system has been
categorised under stringent conditions as
"universal", as was the case with earlier
models that do not bear this label.
• If in doubt, please refer to the manufacturer or
the vendor of the child restraint system.
