fuel contaminating the air filter and/or spark plug.
WARNING
Make sure the engine and blade is stopped and that
the spark plug is disconnected before performing any
maintenance.
See the engine operator’s manual for all engine
maintenance information.

HOW TO CLEAN AND INSPECT THE GRASS
CATCHER
Pores in the grass bag can become filled with dirt and
dust over time, causing the bag to collect less grass. After
each use, thoroughly empty the bag to prevent mildew.
Occasionally rinse the bag with fresh water and allow it to
completely air dry before use to keep the pores clean.
Normal use will cause gradual wear to the grass catcher.
Frequently check it for wear, damage, or deterioration,
which could expose moving parts or allow objects to
be thrown. Replace it as needed with like parts. Use
only those accessories specifically approved by the
manufacturer
HOW TO CLEAN THE MOWER HOUSING AND
DRIVE SYSTEM
WARNING
Shut off the engine and disconnect the spark plug
wire before inspecting, cleaning, or performing any
maintenance on the machine.
WARNING
The mower blade is sharp and can cause serious
injuries. Carefully wrap the blade or wear heavy
gloves while performing blade maintenance or other
work in the blade area.
1. Turn the lawn mower on its side, with the air filter side of
the engine facing up.
2. Wear heavy gloves and use an appropriate scraping
tool to remove debris that has collected underneath the
mower housing.
3. Occasionally remove the drive belt cover and clean
debris from the belt area. Then replace the cover
securely.
HOW TO INSPECT THE DRIVE SYSTEM
Keep the tires free of fuel, oil, or yard chemicals, which may
harm the rubber. If the tires are damaged, replace with like
parts.
Check the drive wheels to make sure they move freely. If
the wheels drag, or drive system doesn’t operate smoothly,
contact your retailer or factory-authorized dealer for service.
