10. Lower the sharpener cover (1) .
The grinding stone (5) Should be kept clean 
and free of grease for the best sharpening 
performance. It can be easily removed for 
cleaning. Simply pull it out of its holder as shown.

Electrical safety

The Model CX Matic 300 and 350 are both fi tted with safety cut-out switches that will 
automatically stop the machine if, while running: the blade cover is removed; the sharpener 
cover is lifted; or if there is a sudden power drop. If any of these events occurs, either 
replace the relevant component or wait for power to be restored and switch the machine 
back on.
