WARNING

Do not operate this kettle without the
filter fitted.

Removing/Refitting the Filter

Important:

 Before removing or

refitting the filter, switch the kettle
off. Unplug the power base, empty
the kettle and allow to cool
completely.

To Remove the Filter

Ensure the kettle has cooled
fully and is empty.

Paying close attention to how
the filter is installed, pull
upwards gently on the top edge
of the filter to unclip.

Lift the filter vertically out of the
kettle.

To Clean the Filter

Rinse the filter under a tap

whilst brushing with a soft
brush. In hard water areas it
may be necessary to descale
with a descaling agent.

Use a proprietary descaler,

following the manufacturer’s
instructions carefully.

To Refit the Filter

Make sure that your hands are
clean and free from soap,
cream or anything which might
taint the water.

Place kettle on the worktop
and locate the filter into the
spout as follows:

Align the filter with the three
locating clips, push down to
clip into position.
