HOW TO USE
1 With the kettle switched off,
connect the plug into a suitable
power outlet. When the kettle is
switched off, there is no
illumination of the On/Off switch.
2 Remove the kettle from the
power base before filling with
water.
3 Do not fill through the spout.
4 To open the lid, pull the lid latch
backwards towards the On/Off
button, then push the lid back
until it rests on its hinge.
5 Fill through the top, observing
the capacity markings on the
water windows.
Be sure to replace the lid to
ensure optimum operation.
6 Fill the kettle with no less than
the minimum amount of water
(approximately 0.5 litres) and no
more than the maximum level
mark allows (1.7 litres).
TO ENSURE KETTLE IS NOT
OVERFILLED, ALWAYS CHECK
THE WATER LEVEL WITH THE
KETTLE POSITIONED ON ITS
POWER BASE.
7 Ensure the kettle is correctly
seated on the power base.
Switch the kettle on by
depressing the On/Off switch,
which will then illuminate
indicating that the kettle is
operating.
8 When the water reaches boiling
point, the kettle and the On/Off
light will automatically switch off.
9 You may also switch the kettle off
manually at any time by gently
pressing the top of the On/Off
switch downwards.
10 Always ensure the kettle is
switched off before removing
from or replacing on the base
unit.
WARNING: If this product is
filled above the max. level, hot
water may be ejected.
