The vac

Pac will not
turn on
Check and ensure appliance is connected to the power outlet by the adaptor.
Check the adaptor for damage. If damaged, discontinue use.
Ensure the bag sensor is engaged by repositioning the bag using the puncture
hole so that the bag sensor is activated by the bag.
Ensure the lid is closed and locked. Ensure you push down firmly on the lid so
that you hear the ‘click’ when it locks.
A proper seal is not
taking place
Check the sealing circle to ensure the bag is positioned correctly.
Ensure the bag is on the liquid catch tray but does not extend past it.
Ensure the bag is positioned so that it is flat and smooth over the sealing area
and laying on a flat surface (ie. kitchen bench top).
Ensure the zipper is not vacuum sealed within the zipper area.
Ensure that a new sealing circle is used each time you reuse a bag.
Ensure that an adequate amount of space is placed between the food and the
sealing area.
Ensure the bottom black foam press pad is not deformed. If it is, remove the
bottom press pads and let it sit out for several hours to return to its original
shape.
Ensure black foam press pads are not obstructed. Clear out any food in and
around the sealing area and reposition the bag.
Ensure the liquid catch tray isn’t clogged. If it is clogged, remove the tray and
clean it following the care and cleaning instructions.
Ensure that there are no parts missing from the appliance by checking the
parts diagram.
Ensure the bag and its contents are not too wet. Minimise the amount of liquid
in the bag, pat raw meat dry.
Check to ensure food particles are not obstructing the bag’s zipper top.
The heat seal may be too hot. Wait at least 5 minutes for the heat seal to cool.
The bag is leaking after
it has been sealed or air
remains in the bag
The heat seal may be incomplete. To fix an incomplete seal, redo the sealing
process on the same location.
This will restore the incomplete seal but will
not vacuum seal the bag.
To vacuum seal the bag again after restoring the seal, use a new sealing circle.
NOTE: When reusing a bag DO NOT overlap the sealing circles unless you
are attempting to fix a broken seal.
Ensure the zipper top is 100% closed along the entire length of the bag.
Check to ensure food particles are not obstructing the bag’s zipper top.
