6. Numeric keys (6, fig. 33)
- Here you can enter the numbers 0 - 9 and change the ro
-
tation speed (for more information see "Rotation speeds") The "0" button can also be
used to switch the red flashlight on the top of the handheld computer on and off.
7. Stop button (7, fig. 33)
- This interrupts any motor movement of the telescope. After
pressing the button again, the telescope resumes the last executed function.
8. Help key (8, fig. 33)
- It gives you access to the help function. Once your questions have
been adequately answered by the Help function, press the MODE button to return to
the original display. Continue with the previously selected procedure.
9. Connection socket for the spiral cable (9, fig. 33)
- Plug one end of the spiral cable of
the handheld computer into this socket (9, fig. 33). The socket is located on the under
-
side of the handheld computer.
NOTE!
To remove the spiral cable, first slightly press down the spring tab on the plug and only
then pull the plug out of the connection socket of the hand box or the interface field of
the telescope!
10. Function key (10, fig. 33)
- Use this button to select an appropriate memory bank, e.g.
from a previously programmed target object.
11. Illumination button for the flashlight (11, fig. 33)
- Switches the flashlight (12, fig. 34)
by pressing several times in two brightness levels on and off again.
12. Flashlight (12, fig. 33)
- With this built-in red flashlight, you can illuminate star charts
and accessories without losing the dark adjustment of your eyes.
13. RS-232 interface (11, fig. 33)
- Not active on these models as there are currently no
suitable accessories available Never try to connect an unapproved PC connection
cable to this interface. This can lead to serious damage to the electronics!
