COMPUTER“ and open the „Properties“ point in the menu.
Then click in the window (Figure 6) on the ADVANCED tab
(in Vista: ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS) and then on
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES. Now, under ENVIRONMENT
VARIABLES, select the NEW option (Figure 7).
For VARIABLE NAME, enter the following (Figure 8):
devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices
For VARIABLE VALUE, enter the value “1”.
Confirm your entries with OK and restart you computer!
After restarting, go into the Device Manager. In the VIEW
menu, activate the DISPLAY HIDDEN DEVICES. The “ghost
devices” that had been hidden will now be shown in light
grey. You can control the various categories such as USB,
storage volume, etc. Delete only the entries for devices that
you no longer use from the device manager.

ChArGInG.ThE.BATTErY
Remove the battery compartment cover on the underside
of the LED-MP2. Please install the batteries that came
with your device correctly. Close the LED-MP2 again and
connect it via the enclosed adapter to an electrical power
source. The blue LED lamp will now be continually illuminat-
ed and a red LED will begin to blink. To charge the battery
completely, it takes about 5 hours. It is recommended that
you charge the battery completely. The red LED will then be
illuminated continually.
Please take note of the following when the LED-MP2 is com-
pletely charged:
• Do not touch with damp or wet hands.
• Use only the enclosed charging device to charge. Other-
wise, damage may be incurred to the device and the guar-
antee will no longer be valid.
• Avoid too many plugs in the power bar.
• If there is a storm (thunder and lightning), unplug from the
electrical power source.
• Unplug from electrical power source if you do not use the
LED-MP2 for an extended period of time.
• Switch the device to Standby mode during the charging
process.
• If dampness or other moisture gets into the device, please
turn it off and interrupt the charging process.
