Preparation and maintenance

 DANGER!

Discharge the flash before exchanging the UV protection cover

or the flash tube. Disconnect the device from the power supply

(remove plug)! Let it cool down for about 45 min. before starting

any maintenance work.

Now push the UV protection glass over the three clamping

devices until it is locked in place.

2. Changing the fuse (Fig. 6)

1.  Disconnect the device from the power supply. Open the fuse

slot with a flat head screwdriver in the arrow direction until

the holder with the fuse pops out.

The glass body of a lamp may burst at the end of its lifetime.

In  this  case,  disconnect  the  device  from  the  power  supply

immediately  (remove  plug).  Even  after  unplugging  the  power

cable there is a risk of electric shock due to the existence of

residual electricity!

Wait at least about 45 min. until replacing an defective bulb.

Touch  the  device  or  its  parts  with  suitable  protection  gloves

only.

 RISK of BODILY INJURY!

If  neccessary,  remove  parts  of  broken  glass  carefully  with

suitable protection gloves. There is a risk of bodily injury!
