SETTING THE dATE
You can adjust the date by pulling out the crown to position II. You will now be able
to change the date by rotating the crown clockwise.
Do not change the date between 20:00 and 03:00
SETTING THE TIME
Pull the crown out to position III, this will stop the movement, you can now position
the minute hand exactly. To start the second hand, push the crown back to position
I. When setting the time, it is worth noting that the date change always takes place
at mid-night (00:00). If this change has already taken place at 12:00 noon, you must
move the hands forward by 12 hours. Ensure that the crown is screwed back in after
setting the watch. This can be achieved by gently pressing the crown down whilst
rotating it in a clockwise direction.
USING THE 5 MINUTE REGATTA COUNTdOWN FUNCTION ANd 15
MINUTE TIMER
Positioned at 12H is the countdown/timer feature of your AC-R-TI. This feature
consists of a segmented display that moves every 30 seconds and is split into two
functions. The left and right hand windows display the 5 minute countdown; the
window beneath these two displays a full 15 minute timer.
5 MINuTE cOuNTDOwN:
At reset, the left hand window is blue and the right hand window is red with 5
individual minutes displayed.
To start the countdown press Push-Button A. The countdown will move a full
segment every minute. After one minute a red segment with a letter will appear in
the left window and a blue segment in the right. The right window will now only
display 4, 3, 2 and 1 signifying 4 minutes left on the countdown.
After 5 minutes the left window will be red and the word START will fully appear,
signifying that the countdown timing is complete and 5 minutes has passed. The right
window will be blue.
15 MINuTE REGATTA TIMER:
At reset the Regatta minute timer will be set to 15. To start the timer press Push-
Button A (this will also start the 5 minute countdown timer above). The timer will
move a full segment every minute, after one minute the timer will display 1 and
continue to count up until 15 minutes have passed, then returning to 1, and repeating
the full cycle until stopped using Push-Button A, or reset using Push-Button B.
Both the countdown and timer displays will continue to change and repeat until they
are stopped using Push-Button A. Operating Push-Button A again will continue the
functions and Push-Button B will reset them to their starting position.
USING THE ROTATING BEzEl
Your AC-R-TI has a bi-directional rotating bezel which can be used to keep track of
elapsed time. For example, if the time on your watch reads 12:15, align the triangle on
the bezel with the minute hand. Now, say the time is 12:30, the minute hand position
will point towards 15 on the bezel, indicating that 15 minutes of time has elapsed.
