Setting the time
Pull the crown out to position

. Turn
the crown downwards (

) to move
the hands forwards to the desired
time. For accurate time-setting, ensure
that the last operation was done in a
clockwise direction (by turning the
crown downwards). Then push the
crown back to position

. After this
operation, rotate the crown down-
wards (
▼
) to make sure it turns
freely.
Correcting the moon phases –
push-piece I
Press push-piece
I
using the stylus,
so as to place the moon in the centre
of the window. Use a diary to count
the days since the last full moon. Then
press the push-piece the correspond-
ing number of times. This sets the
phases of the moon precisely.
Note
Avoid correcting the moon phases
between 11.00 and 13.00 or between
23.00 and 01.00. The moon disc is
moving during these periods and the
correction will be less precise.
