The crown has two positions:
1. Neutral position
(manual winding)
2. Time-setting position

. This position
enables the selfwinding movement to
be wound by hand. Before any other
operation, rewind by turning the
crown upwards 30 to 35 times (

to reach approximately 15 hrs on the
power-reserve display

. Thereafter,
the watch worn on the wrist winds
itself and reaches its full endurance
automatically. If it is not worn after
being fully wound it will stop after
about 38 hours. The hand of the
power-reserve sector

enables the
potential endurance of the watch to
be checked at any time: when the hand
shows 38, it means that the watch is
fully wound and that its endurance,
when not being worn, is about 38
hours of running.
