HOT WATER DISPENSER – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE USING THE HOT WATER DISPENSER.  

STORE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE NEAR THE APPLIANCE

In this documentation the following pictograms and symbols are used.

Safety instructions

These instructions for use contain warnings and safety instructions.

• For the location in which the appliance is to be operated, check 

the voltage power supply. Make sure that your outlet voltage 

corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the 

appliance.

• 

The appliance has an identification plate with the water pressure on 

it. Check the water pressure.

• Always use the new food-approved hose set that is supplied with an 

appliance. Old hose sets should not be used.

• The appliance is designed solely for the purpose described in theses 

instructions for use. Only use the appliance if it is in perfect working 

order and only for the purpose for which it is intended.  

Misuse can cause potential injuries.

• Always follow the local and national safety regulations and standards 

for electrical devices during installation.

• Installation, maintenance, repair and use are to be carried out 

exclusively by authorised personnel. Do not perform any repair or 

maintenance work on the appliance before the appliance has been 

secured against unintended operation.

• 

Repair and service tasks should only be carried out by qualified 

service engineers.

• There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Covers that are only 

removable with a tool may only be removed by authorized 

personnel. Removing the covers creates a risk of electric shock or 

fire.

• 

Place the appliance that is fitted with an electrical plug near an easily 

accessible earthed wall socket. If the appliance is not supplied with a 

fitted electrical plug, ensure that a professional authorized electrician 

establishes a permanent connection point to the appliance protected 

by an earth leakage circuit breaker of 30 mA in which all phases and 

the NEUTRAL connection can easily be disconnected (minimum 3 

mm contact distance).

• Make sure the mains cable cannot come into contact with hot 

surfaces and avoid spillage on the connector.

• Do not operate the appliance with a damage mains cable or mains 

plug, or in an abnormal state. If the mains cable is damaged it must 

be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly 

qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. 

• Always check the appliance for damage. If you detect damage, do 

not use the appliance.

• Protect the appliance against water and moisture. Never submerge 

the appliance in water. Do not spray the appliance with water or 

clean it with a jet of water.

• Use the appliance only on a dry, even, horizontal and heat-resistant 

surface that can support the weight of the appliance. 

• This appliance must be installed in an area where it can be overseen 

by trained personnel.

• Do not tilt the appliance more than 5º.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above 

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, 

or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given 

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe 

way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children 

without supervision.

• Keep the appliance and the cord out of reach of children less than 8 

years old. 

• Bravilor Bonamat products can dispense liquids at a temperature 

above 85 ºC/185 ºF. Temperatures above 52 ºC/125 ºF can cause 

severe burns and even result in death. Children, persons with 

physical disabilities and elderly people must be accompanied by an 

adult who is familiar with the burning hazard presented by Bravilor 

Bonamat products.

• For correct operation only use the appliance in a room where the 

temperature is between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F). 

• 

The noise produced by this appliance is lower than 70 dB.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors.

WARNING

Should the appliance freeze, remove the mains cable from the 

power outlet and shut off the water supply. Let the appliance 

defrost and check it for leaks.

THE APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.
