One bolt and locknut connects axles during
shipping. Save bolt and locknut for reuse.

. Remove shipping materials.

a

. Use 10” Crescent wrench to remove

the lag bolt securing the EZ Split 15
tongue to the shipping pallet.
Discard the lag bolt.

b

. Use band cutters to remove banding

(not shown) securing the rear of the
log splitter to the shipping pallet.
Discard the banding.

5

. Use two 9/16 inch wrenches to unbolt the

tire assembly axles.

Note:

Save the bolt (2) and nut (3) for reuse

during tire assembly installation.
