Resecure or replace if needed.
Use BraunAbility 32840-QT (Exxon

hydraulic fluid (do not mix with Dextron III or other
hydraulic fluids). Check fluid level with platform
lowered fully and roll stop unfolded fully. Measure
3/4" from the top of the fill tube to locate fluid level.
Tighten, repair or replace if needed.
Replace if needed.
Tighten or replace if needed.
Replace damaged parts and resecure as needed.
Apply Synthetic Grease during reassembly proce-
dures.
Tighten, replace or correct as needed
Apply light oil or replace as needed. See Lubrica-
tion Diagram.
Resecure, repair or replace if needed.
Check to see that the lift is securely anchored to
the vehicle and there are no loose bolts, broken
welds, or stress fractures.
Replace decals if worn, missing or illegible.
Inspect cotter pins:
• Upper inner control arms (2)
• Outer barrier latch gas springs (2 - hairpin)
• Spring tensioner pulley bracket (1)
• Leaf chain mounting pins (8)
Hydraulic Fluid (Pump) - Check level. Note: Fluid
should be changed if there is visible contamination.
Inspect the hydraulic system (cylinder, hoses, fit
-
tings, seals, etc.) for leaks if fluid level is low.
Inspect cylinders, fittings and hydraulic connections
for wear, damage or leaks
Inspect vertical channels, bearings and pivot pins
for visible wear or damage
Inspect inner / outer vertical channel roller mount-
ing bolts (72)
Inspect platform pivot pin, bearings and verti-
cal channels for wear, damage and positive
securement
Inspect gas springs (cylinders - 4) for wear or dam-
age, proper operation and positive securement
Inspect intermediate vertical channel (I-beam)
chain roller bearing (2)
Inspect power cables

Disposal
Procedure
No lift components contain unacceptable amounts of lead,
cadmium, mercury, or hexavalent chromium.
1. Lower platform to ground.
2. Open pump module manual relief valve.
3. Disconnect power from lift.
4. Capture and recycle hydraulic fluid.
5. Disassemble lift and recycle components.
Refer to exploded views for disassembly.
