(position «l»). Add liquids at once through the
fi lling tube (9) while the motor is running.
Pasta dough
Flour quantity:
min. 250 g / max. 1 kg
Speed 1–7
approx. 3.5 minutes
Place the fl our and other ingredients into the
dough bowl – except water. Pour the required
amount of water through the fi lling tube (9).
Do not add any water after the dough has
formed into a ball as the water will not be
evenly absorbed.
Kneading pastries
Flour quantity:
min. 250 g/max. 750 g
Speed 5–7
approx. 2.5 minutes
Place the fl our into the dough bowl and then
add all the other ingredients. For good results,
do not use warm, soft butter. The pastry is
ready when it has formed into a ball and has
been kneaded for a short time after that. The
processing time (approx. 2.5 mins) depends
on the dough quantity. The pastry will become
too soft if it is kneaded for too long.
Mixing, stirring, whipping
Use the mixing attachment (7a) for mixing
cake mixtures, butter cream and mashed
potatoes etc. Add ingredients into the bowl
only after having inserted the mixing attach-
ment.
Maximum quantity: 1 kg fl our (or less if
recipes included many other ingredients).
Speed 5–15
Push the mixing attachment onto the drive
arm and push both onto the drive shaft in the
mixing bowl (c). Then lock the lid onto the
mixing bowl (d).
Processing instructions:
The butter should neither be too hard nor too
soft. When making mashed potatoes, use very
hot ingredients and warm the universal bowl
beforehand with hot water. Slowly mash the
peeled, boiled potatoes (speed 5–7, approx.
1 min). Then pour in the hot milk through the
fi lling tube (9) and beat quickly (speed 11–14).
Use the whisk attachment (7a) for whipping or
cream or egg-whites or for making sponges.
Add ingredients into the bowl only after having
inserted the whisk.
Do not use the whisk attachment for cake
mixtures.
Maximum quantity:
Speed
Cream – 700 ml
9–11
Egg-whites – 8 (approx. 240 ml)
15
Sponge – from 7 eggs
15
Push the whisk attachment onto the drive
arm and push both onto the drive shaft in the
mixing bowl (c). Then place the lid onto the
mixing bowl (d).
Using the Food
Processor Bowl
Use the food processor bowl for mixing,
chopping, cutting with the universal blade
or, when using the discs (16) for slicing,
shredding, grating.

All attachments for use with the food proces-
sor bowl with the grey drive shaft are grey.
Maximum capacity: 2 l liquid (for milk-
shakes 1.5 l).
Small quantities should preferably be
processed in the liquidiser jug (19) with
blade (18).
Universal blade
(14)
The universal blade can be used for mixing,
chopping, cutting, but also for kneading
dough (e.g., yeast dough, max. 1 kg fl our
plus ingredients, speed 2–7, approx. 3 mins).
For speed applications see table V.
Protective cover
(13)
Before use, remove the plastic cover by
standing the universal blade with the cover on
the table and pressing the knob downwards
until the protective cover loosens (A). The uni-
versal blade can only be placed into the food
processor bowl (15) without its cover (B).
After use, replace the cover by standing the
universal blade on the table. The symbol on
the cover must be over the higher part of the
universal blade.
Slip the protective cover over the knob and
hold the cover with one hand. Pull the knob
hard with the other hand until the universal
blade engages with the cover (C).
Only take hold of it by the plastic knob. Place
all ingredients into the food processor bowl
after attaching the universal blade.
Liquid ingredients may be added through the
fi lling tube while the motor is running.
After use, always remove the universal blade
before removing the processed food.
Recipe examples:
Dried Fruit in Vanilla-Honey
(as a pancake
stuffi
ng or spread)
Chill 1 kg creamy honey and chopped dried
fruit (500 g prunes, 500 g dried fi gs) in the
fridge. Fill honey and dried fruit into the food
processor bowl and chop for 15 seconds at
max. speed, then add 400 ml vanilla-fl avoured
water and resume chopping for 3 seconds.
Blending soups, milk-shakes etc.
Speed 7–15
appr. 30 seconds
At maximum capacity of 2 l use speed 8 (to
avoid risk of frothing over).
Shakes (maximum 1.5 l): cut fruits, fi ll in and
pre-mix at speed 15, then add liquid at speed
7 and mix.
Please note that milk easily frothes over when
mixed; use lower quantity accordingly.

16d Reversible shredding disc
16e Grating disc
Place the disc needed onto the disc carrier
(16f) and turn the disc anti-clockwise in the
direction of the arrow (D) until it engages.
Remove by turning clockwise.
Push the disc carrier with the disc onto the
drive shaft in the food processor bowl as far
as possible (E). Then place the lid onto the
food processor bowl and lock it (F).
When using discs, always turn the motor
switch to constant operation (position «I»).
When processing juicy or soft ingredients, you
will obtain better results at a lower speed.
Hard foods should be processed at a higher
speed. When adding ingredients through the
fi lling tube (G), always use the pusher. Never
reach into the fi lling tube when the motor is
running.
Discs (16a, b):
For the most even results, push the food to
be processed into the fi lling tube when the
appliance is switched off .
Discs (16c, d, e):
Food can be pushed into the fi lling tube while
the motor is running.
For speed applications see table VI.
French fries disc
(16a)
Speed 1–7
The writing must be facing the user. For best
results, fi ll 4–5 raw potatoes into the fi lling
tube at once.
Processing examples: raw potatoes, celery.
Julienne disc
(16b)
Speed 1–7
The writing must be facing the user. This disc
cuts vegetables into strips. lf you push the
vegetables into the fi lling tube vertically, the
strips will be shorter. lf you push them in at a
slant or horizontally, the strips will be longer.
Processing examples: cucumbers, carrots,
beetroot, radishes, celery, kohlrabi, raw
potatoes.
Reversible slicing disc
(16c)
Speed 1–7
lt can be used from both sides (coarse/fi ne).
Processing examples (coarse): cucumbers,
kohlrabi, raw potatoes, onions, leeks, salami,
bananas, tomatoes, mushrooms, radishes,
lettuce (rolled up tightly), celery.
Processing examples (fi ne): cucumbers,
cab-bage, raw potatoes, carrots, onions,
salami, radishes.
Reversible shredding disc
(16d)
Speed 1–15
This disc can be used from both sides
(coarse/fi ne).
Soft foods (e.g., cucumbers) should be
processed at speed 1–7, hard foods can be
shredded at a speed up to 15.
Processing examples (coarse): cucumbers,
kohlrabi, beetroot, carrots, raw potatoes,
apples, cabbage.
Processing examples (fi ne): cheese (soft,
medium hard), cucumbers, carrots, raw
potatoes, apples.
Grating disc
(16e)
Speed 7–15
The writing must be facing the user.
Processing examples: raw potatoes (e. g., for
potato pancakes), horseradish, parmigiano
cheese (hard).
