Appliance and accessories
1 Appliance assembled.
2a Housing (handle).
2b Curling tong (in the small curling
brush (2d)), e.g. for a curly look
and firm curls also with short hair.
2c Large curling brush, e.g. for larger
curls, waves, smoothing and
giving volume.
2d Small curling brush, e.g. curls also
with shorter hair.
Note: Use on dry hair only. If you
bleach your hair regularly, it is more
sensitive to heat. Therefore do not
leave the unit in your hair too long.
Using the 3-in-1 curl
Braun 3-in-1 curl combines three
appliances in one. Choose according
to the look you want and the length of
your hair the suited styling element.
While you are using e.g. the large
curling brush, the small curling brush
is space-savingly stowed away in the
handle of the appliance (5a).
If you wish to dress your hair with the
small curling brush, simply push the
snap-in locking (3), pull out the whole
3-in-1 curl element, turn it round and
push it as far as possible into the
handle, until you will recognize an
audible «click» (5b).
Using the curling tong
If you want to use the curling tong,
press the tip on the curling tong and
pull off the curling brush (4a). Then
press the button to release the clamp
(4b), and place a separated strand
between the rod and the clamp.
Using the small curling brush
The opening in the lower rim of the
curling brush has to correspond to the
colour changing dot on the curling
tong (4a).
Then push the small curling brush over
the curling tong until it locks (4a).
Heating the appliance
Plug the Braun 3-in-1 curl into a
socket and within a few minutes the
respective colour changing dot will
turn from red to black (6). Your Braun
3-in-1 curl then has the right
temperature and is ready for use.
Note: If you wish to dress your hair
with both brushes (or the curling tong),
it is better to use first the large curling
brush and then the small curling brush
or the curling tong, becauce these
heat up more quickly.
Styling
Separate a strand, but no more than
5 cm wide. Wind up strand of hair in
the desired direction. The longer the
Braun 3-in-1 curl stays in your hair,
the firmer the curl will be. Allow the
curls to cool before combing your hair
through, this will make the style last
longer.
Storage
For convenient storage, your Braun
3-in-1 curl has a practical hook (7).
Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance and let it
cool before cleaning. Wipe the curlig
brushes and the curling tong with a
damp cloth. Be sure the appliance is
completely dry before you use it again.

Important
• Branchez votre appareil unique-

se mouiller.
• Débranchez-le toujours après
usage. La proximité de l’eau peut

• Pour assurer une protection
complémentaire, l’installation dans
le circuit électrique alimentant la
salle de bain, d’un dispositif à
courant différentiel (DDR) de courant
différentiel de fonctionnement
assigné n’excédant pas 30 mA est
conseillé. Demandez conseil à votre
installateur.
• La surchauffe est impossible si
l’appareil est utilisé conformément
au mode d’emploi. Néanmoins, il ne
doit pas rester branché plus de
30 minutes. Débrancher toujours
l’appareil après utilisation. Lorsque
l’appareil fonctionne, le fer à boucler
et les picots de la brosse deviennent
chauds, et il est prudent de ne pas
les toucher afin d’éviter tout risque
de brûlure. Ne pas poser l’appareil
chaud sur une surface sensible à la
chaleur, pendant et après utilisation.
• Ne pas enrouler le cordon autour
de l’appareil. Vérifiez régulièrement
que le cordon n’est ni usé ni endom-
magé. Seul un centre-service agréé
Braun est habilité à remplacer le
cordon de l’appareil. Une réparation
effectuée par une personne non
qualifiée peut entrainer de graves
dangers pour l’utilisateur.
L’appareil et ses accessoires

2b Fer à boucler (placé à l’intérieur de
la brosse de petit diamètre (2d)),
pour réaliser des coiffures encore
plus bouclées y compris sur
cheveux courts.
2c Brosse chauffante de diamètre
large, permettant de réaliser des
boucles plus amples, créer des
vagues et donner du volume à une
coiffure.
2d Brosse chauffante de petit
diamètre, pour boucler et coiffer
aussi les cheveux courts.
Important: à utiliser sur cheveux secs
exclusivement. Si vous décolorez
vos cheveux régulièrement, ils seront
plus sensibles à la chaleur. Dans ce
cas, ne pas laisser trop longtemps la
brosse sur la même mèche.
Utilisation de la brosse 3-in-1 curl
La brosse Braun 3-in1 curl comprend
trois appareils en un. Choisissez
chaque fois l’élément le plus adapté
en fonction du style de coiffure que
vous désirez et de votre longueur de
cheveux. Si vous choisissez d’utiliser
la brosse de diamètre large, l’autre
brosse de plus petit diamètre sera
rangée et logée à l’intérieur de la
poignée de l’appareil (5a).
Si vous souhaitez vous coiffer grâce à
la brosse de petit diamètre, poussez
simplement le bouton auto-bloquant
(3), sortez l’ensemble de la brosse
3-in-1 curl de son logement,
retournez-la et rentrez-la à l’intérieur
de la poignée, aussi loin que possible,
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un
«déclic» audible (5b).
Utilisation du fer à boucler
Si vous voulez utiliser le fer à boucler,
poussez sur l’extrémité du fer et
enlevez la brosse chauffante (4a). Puis
appuyer sur le bouton qui permet de
relever la barre du fer (4b) et placer une
