When unpacking your unit, make sure that you carefully remove all of the packaging
materials.

Clean the appliance and its accessories with a damp cloth. Then, dry them thoroughly.

Before placing the inner pot into the cooker, make sure that the heating plate and
the outside surface of the inner pot are clean and dry. Be careful not to let rice or
food particles fall into the cooker.
