To help prevent electrical damage to the unit, Bradley recommends the use of surge protection. The type of 

surge protection required and its usage is the responsibility of the installer/electrician.

Supplies Required

•  110 VAC power source for 24 VAC Class II transformer 

•  110/24 VAC Class II transformer (available from Bradley as an option)

•  (3) wire nuts to connect power cord leads to transformer wires

Install the 24 VAC Class II transformer in a remote location a safe distance from the area where the 

security fixture is to be used.

(See chart on page 3 for 

part number identification)

Insert the push button and spring 

into the escutcheon, then insert 

the escutcheon into through the 

hole in the front of the fixture.

Thread the sensor through the mounting bracket and 

the fixture onto the escutcheon, and secure the valve 

to the fixture by turning nut 1/4 turn past finger-tight). 

NOTE: Use bracket part no. 140-958 for 1-5/8" 

diameter hole (e.g., COMBI 5500). Use bracket 

part no. 140-627 for all square-hole applications.

Connect the black and brown power cord leads to the 

wire on the transformer with wire nuts (supplied by 

installer). Turn on the water supply and check for leaking. 

Turn on the 24 VAC power and press the TouchTime

®

 

push button several times to purge air from lines.

Installation    

A

Apply 100% silicone caulk to escutcheon 

backside prior to installation to ensure a 

water tight seal. Wipe excess caulk from 

front side of escutcheon and panel.
