MVM MODIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Begin by using the Ball Pein Hammer to fl atten the bend area 

shown in Picture 1. Use your vises fl at anvil area to pound the 

mount fl at.

Locate the strait line notch between the four holes on the side 

of the MVM. Place this line so it is horizontal with the jaws of 

your vise. Tighten the vise and bend in one direction to allow the 

notched area to snap clean apart. Note: You may have to pound 

the edges of the two peices fl at a little bit. You have now created 

part (A) and part (B). See picture 2 at left. 

Place part (A) back into the vise. See picture 2 at left to see where  

to bend a 90 degree right angle. Note: you may need to enlarge 

the middle hole to accomodate a small plastic pin. You can do this 

with a small fi le. Take a small fi le and clean up any rough edges if 

needed. Black paint or marker can be used to touch up any areas 

that show bare metal.   

Return to step 2 on page 2 to continue installing the MVM.

The Bracketron MVM-45-05 mount is a modifi able mounting bracket. The illustrations on the left show how this mount should 

look during and after the modifi cation steps in order to fi t the listed vehicles on the front page of this manual. 

Many vehicle 

applications may not require any modifi cations to the mount. If this is the case it will be noted below and there will be no steps 

to follow on this page.
