5. Change Radiator Fluid.
The coolant is hot and under pressure. DO NOT begin this procedure until the engine
radiator is cool to the touch.
a. Remove the protective screen (Item 1,
Figure 4–26
) from over the engine radiator and
hydraulic radiator.
b. Position a container of suitable size under the front of the machine.
c. Remove the radiator cap.
d. Open the petcock (Item 2,
Figure 4–26
) at the bottom of the radiator and allow all of the
coolant to drain from the radiator.
