• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning
the appliance.
• Allow the appliance to cool off completely.
• Remove stubborn dirt with a special glass
scraper for glass ceramic surfaces.
• Clean the cooled glass ceramic surface with a
soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Then dry the glass ceramic surface with a soft cloth.
• If the ventilation holes are dirty or clogged,
carefully remove the dirt with a vacuum cleaner.
DEACTIVATING THE APPLIANCE
Unplug the appliance if you will not be using it for an
extended period and store it in a dry place.

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY:
• The cooking plate and the base of the pan should
be clean and free of residue to guarantee optimal
heat transfer.
• Place the pan in the middle of the cooking zone.
• Do not use pans with a base less than 12 cm in
diameter.
• When heating water, only heat the quantity
needed.
• During cooking and preparation, always cover
the pan with a lid if possible.
• Switch off the cooking plate prematurely and use the
residual heat for keeping food warm, melting, etc.
