If an invalid address is entered, the terminal responds with an
error message and prompts the user for the address again. For
example:

Edit Local IP Address
To define your terminal IP address, select option number 2.
When prompted, enter the terminal’s IP address in dotted-
decimal format as shown in the example below:

If a valid address is entered, the terminal stores it in its
working memory and returns to the Setup Menu with the
Edit
Local IP Addr
field updated.
If an invalid address is entered, the terminal responds with an
error message and prompts the user for the address again.
