Tapping the dirt out of the plate fi lter
If the plate fi lter is particularly dirty, the dirt can also
be tapped out.
To do this, remove the plate fi lter from the outer fi l-
ter unit and tap it out over a dustbin.
Once you have cleaned the plate fi lter, it is ready for
use immediately.

Cleaning the fl uff fi lter
Take the fi lter unit out of the dust container.

It is usually suffi cient to lightly shake or tap out the fl uff
fi lter when the dust container is emptied in order to
dislodge any particles of dirt.

If this is not suffi cient, you can use a dry cloth to remo-
ve dirt particles from the surface.

Insert the plate fi lter into the outer fi lter unit and
lock it in place by turning it clockwise.
Insert the fi lter unit into the dust container, making
sure it is correctly seated. Insert the dust container
into the appliance, so that it clicks audibly into
place.

Cleaning the fl oor nozzle
Before carrying out any maintenance, switch off the
vacuum cleaner and disconnect it from the charging
cable.

Turn the rotary brush anti-clockwise to unlock it
and pull it out to the side of the fl oor nozzle.
b)
Use scissors to cut through threads and hairs wound
round the brush and then remove them.
c)
Slide the rotary brush in at the side of the fl oor nozzle
and along the guide bar, and turn it clockwise to lock
it in place.

Care
Make sure that the cordeless handheld vacuum clea-
ner is switched off and disconnected from the charging
cable before cleaning it. The vacuum cleaner and plas-
tic accessories can be cleaned with standard plastic
cleaner.
