BRITA Maxtra water
i ltration system
Only BRITA Maxtra water i ltration
system cartridges may be used in
machines with a water i ltration system.
The BRITA Maxtra cartridges may be
obtained from various retailers or directly
from your Bosch Service Center (please
i nd contact details on page
87).
Your machine can be operated with or
without a i lter cartridge. Simply remove
the i lter holder and i lter cartridge from the
water tank if you don’t want to use it.
When using a
new
filter cartridge in the
machine, please observe the following
procedure:
Preparing and inserting BRITA Maxtra
i lter cartridge
Remove the filter cartridge from the
protective wrap.
Immerse the filter cartridge in cold tap
water and move it gently back and forth
to eliminate air bubbles (approx. 5 sec.).
Remove the filter holder in the water
tank and insert the filter cartridge in the
appropriate chamber of the filter holder,
until it makes an audible clicking sound.
