What is the maximum number
of Twinguards I can connect to
a Gateway?
You can currently connect up to 24 Twinguards
to a Gateway.
How can I reset the gateway to
the factory settings?
To restore the factory default, press the
embedded System button on the bottom of your
gateway with a pointed object for about five
seconds. While pressing the button, the third
LED flashes yellow. The gateway then restarts.
Will data be lost if the gateway
is reset to factory settings?
All gateway-relevant information about the
existing radio network is deleted. The radio
connection to the connected Twinguards and
the information about the connected
Smartphone are also deleted.
How are updates made to the
gateway?
Information about new updates can be found in
your Twinguard App under "Settings -> Service
-> Software Updates". A notification appears on
your App Homescreen for important software
updates. To update, simply follow the
instructions in the app.
How do I install the gateway?
The Twinguard Gateway can be installed in just
a few simple steps. All you need is the Bosch
Twinguard App and the accessories included in
the starter set packaging. After starting the
Bosch Twinguard App, it guides you through
the individual installation steps. The easiest
way is to take a look at the step-by-step
instructions

How can I connect additional
Twinguards to my Gateway?
After installing the first Twinguard, you will be
asked if you want to install another Twinguard.
Simply follow the instructions in the app.
Alternatively, you can integrate further
Twinguards at a later time via the app. Please
follow the instructions under "Menu -> Room
information -> Add new Twinguard".
Where in my home do I place
my gateway?
To ensure optimum radio contact with your
Twinguards, place your gateway as centrally as
possible in your home. The range of your
gateway varies depending on the type of
building, outside buildings on at least 100 m
