Bluetooth settings
The unit is now available for 2 minutes (under
the name “BOSCH-BT”) for making a connec-
tion.
f
Within 2 minutes you should establish the
connection on the Bluetooth device. Use
the PIN shown on the display for this
purpose.
After successful pairing, “PAIRED” is shown on
the display. The Bluetooth symbol on the
display blinks until the connection is estab-
lished and is then displayed continuously.
Notes:
f
If you use an incorrect PIN, the
pairing operation will fail and
“NO PAIR” appears briefly on the
display.
f
If the connection cannot be
established, the Bluetooth
symbol disappears from the
display.
f
If a connection was successfully
established with a Bluetooth
mobile phone, up to 250 entries
from the phone’s address book
are automatically downloaded to
the unit. The Bluetooth symbol
on the display blinks until the
download is completed. The
entries can then be selected and
called from the unit. For this to
work, the mobile phone must
allow access to its memory.
f
The unit stores the pairing
information for up to 5 Bluetooth
devices. If Bluetooth is activated
when you switch the unit on, the
unit attempts to establish a
connection automatically with
one of the paired Bluetooth
devices. It starts with the device
that it was connected to last.
f
If the current connection is
dropped because the Bluetooth
device is no longer within range,
the unit will re-establish the
connection as soon as the
Bluetooth device is in range
again.
