The customized variant of the VAM 41.1 is equipped with 22.5 mm control and
indicator units. Therefore, the following mounting dimensions are modified as
shown in the following drawing.

Installation
5.2.1
Installation Notes
●
When installing the control panel , ensure an ergonomic operation. Addi‐
tionally, ensure that all machine components can be seen by the operator!
●
Avoid installation locations exposed to direct sunlight, as additional heat
development can occur.
●
Install the control panel in a manner ensuring easy access to the front
panel (top side).
●
Ensure that the LED displays on the front panel are visible.
●
Provide a sufficient minimum clearance of 50 mm for cooling and cable
routing behind the device.
●
Lay all connecting cables in loops and use strain reliefs for all cables.
●
Keep as much distance as possible to noise sources.
5.2.2
Mounting Cut-Out
To mount the control panel, proceed as follows:
1. Create a mounting cut-out with six holes, diameter 4.5 mm, according to
the specifications in
chapter 5.2.3 "Mounting Dimensions VAM 11.1" on
and
chapter 5.2.4 "Mounting Dimensions VAM 41.1" on page
2. Insert the control panel from the front into the cut-out. Then insert the
mounting bolts M4 into the drilled holes.
3. Fasten the control panel by screwing the nuts at the rear side of the
mounting bolts.
