Drive chain
The drive chain used in this product comes lubricated. Lubricate the drive chain
before the initial start-up with Structovis GHD 0 842 904 229, using 1–2 g oil/m
of chain, then every 1,000 hrs with 2–3 g oil/m of chain.
Due to the system, the lubricant may be discharged.

Lubricating points
It is important to adhere to the maintenance intervals as a lack of lubrication
will lead to malfunctions due to chain failure or even crash the system, causing
considerable property damage.
Keep a maintenance schedule.
The running times during the system’s set-up and start-up count towards the fi rst
maintenance interval.
If you do not know the running times during the system’s setup and start-up,
lubricate the drive chain at the start of production.
Lubricate the drive chain after downtimes > 6 months (e.g. long set-up time or
temporary shutdown).
Clean excess grease, dirt or other contaminants from the drive chain before
lubricating. Check the drive chain for wear and elongation.
We recommend: the LU 2 automatic lubrication unit optimally and evenly lubricates
the drive chain while in operation. See page 18.
