Servo-hydraulic actuator
Replacement of components

1. Decommission the entire system as described in the general instructions
for the machine or system.
2. Before starting work on live components: Disconnect the servo-hydraulic
actuator and the drive controller on the system side from the voltage
supply and secure the servo-hydraulic actuator and the drive controller
against restarting.
11.3 Demounting
Proceed as follows to demount the servo-hydraulic actuator:
1.
Check that the servo-hydraulic actuator has sufficiently cooled down so
that it can be removed without any risks.
2. Disconnect the electric lines according to the wiring diagram (system
structure and interface description).
3. Remove the servo-hydraulic actuator. Use suitable lifting gear for this.

Ensure during all these steps that no dirt gets into the openings.
11.4 Storage / further use
Proceed as described in

Chapter 6 “Transport and storage” on page 33.
11.5 Replacement of components
Generally, the servo-hydraulic actuator must not be opened. The hydraulic
system must remain closed. If components are defective and require the
hydraulic system to be opened, contact Bosch Rexroth Service.
In this context, the following components or work are not critical:

Connection cables may be replaced
●
Pressure sensors may be replaced, if they are connected with a hydraulic
measuring port
●
“Integrated” variant: The covering may be replaced
●
The motor with coupling may be replaced
●
The fan on the motor may be replaced
Moreover, it is possible to open the filling ports (for oil samples and/or utilizing
the service kit). They are provided with a hydraulic connection. For details, see
hydraulic circuit diagram and operating instructions “Maintenance kit for servo-
hydraulic actuators SY-SHA”, R.62249-B.
