Setting the date and time
Before using the Timer, you should make sure that the
date and time are correctly set. If necessary, adjust the
date and time as follows:
1 Make sure the Timer is switched on (see section 4).
2 Press and hold in the Set button until the year starts
to flash (see figure 5.1).
3 Turn the rotary selector to select the year, and then
push the rotary selector to confirm the setting. The
month number will start to flash.
Using the same method as described in step 3:
4 Select the month and confirm. The day number will
start to flash.
5 Select the day and confirm. The hours (12) will start
to flash.
6 Select between 12 and 24 hour clock settings and
confirm. The hours will start to flash.
7 Select the hour and confirm. The minutes will start
to flash.
8 Select the minutes and confirm. The date and time
set-up is now complete.
9 Press the Save button to save your settings. The
normal run screen will be displayed.

Summer and Winter (daylight
saving) time settings
The clock can be set for European or North American
Summer/Winter time (daylight saving time). To do this:
1 Locate the set of DIP switches on the rear panel (see
figure 5.2).
2 Set the DIP switches according to table 5.1.
Note
You can also use the Plena Weekly Timer
Configuration software to set the date and time.

Note
To modify the date and time, just press and hold
in the Set button. Then repeatedly press the
rotary selector to quickly jump to, and change,
the settings.
