Setting up the telephone for your own needs

58

Switching off autom. postdialing (DTMF)

Your telephone has been factory-set so that while connected all post dialed number
key depressions can be sent as tones. You can, for example, interrogate voicemail
or implement remote control on an answering machine. These numbers will neither
be displayed, nor entered in the redial memory.

You are making a call.
All keys (0 to 9, star and hash), which are
dialed during a connection will be sent as
tones.

Switching off. autom. postdialing (DTMF) autom. postdialing (DTMF)

Select the “Further functions” menu item in
the main menu.

Select the “Setting the telephone” menu
item.

Select the menu item “Automatic postdia-
ling”.

Press the “Enter” key to switch a function
off.

The setting will be transferred.
Automatic postdialing is now switched off.

Press the “Release” key to complete this
process.

Switching post dialing (DTMF) on again

Set the menu item “Automatic postdialing”
to “On”.
