MITRE SAW STAND GTA 3700 PROFESSIONAL
Article Number 0 601 B10 9..
Safety Information
Read all warning notices and in$
struction enclosed with the saw
stand and the power tool to be
mounted.
Negligence in complying with
the warning notice and instructions can
lead to electrical shock, fire and/or seri&
ous injuries.
Save all warning notices and instruction for fu$
ture reference.
The term "power tool " used in the
warning notices refers to mains powered tools (with
mains cable) as well as to battery powered tools (with&
out mains cable).
Pull the plug from the mains receptacle and/or
remove the battery from the power tool before
making adjustments on the tool or changing tool
accessories.
Unintentional switching on of the power
tool is the cause of many accidents.
Assemble the saw stand in the proper manner
before mounting the power tool.
Flawless assem&
bly is important to prevent the risk of a collapse of the
stand.
Attach the power tool securely to the saw stand
before using it.
An unstable power tool on the saw
stand can lead to loss of control.
Place the saw stand on a firm, level and horizon$
tal surface.
If the saw stand is unstable or wobbles,
the power tool or the work piece cannot be uniformly
and securely guided.
Do not overload the saw stand and do not use it
as a ladder or scaffolding.
Overloading or standing
on the saw stand can lead to the upward shifting of the
centre of gravity of the stand and its tipping over.
When working or transporting, ensure that all
bolts and connecting elements are firmly tight$
ened. The safety locks on the attachment set for
the power tool must always be locked (see Fig$
ure
).
Loose connections can lead to instability
and inexact sawing.
Mount and demount the power tool only when it
is in the transport position (see Figure
; for in$
structions on placing in the transport position,
also see the operating instructions of the respec$
tive power tool).
Otherwise, the power tool can have
such an unfavourable centre of gravity that it cannot be
held securely.
Operate the power tool when the attachment set
is mounted exclusively on the saw stand.
Without
the saw stand, the power tool does not stand securely
on the attachment set and can tip over.
Ensure that long and heavy work pieces do not
affect the equilibrium of the saw stand.
Long
and/or heavy work pieces must be supported at the
free end.
