We recom mend that all tool service
be performed by a Bosch Factory Service
C e n t e r o r A u t h o r i z e d B o s c h S e r v i c e
Station. SERVICE MEN: Disconnect tool
and/or charger from power source before
servicing.
▶ Batteries
Be alert for battery packs that are nearing
their end of life.
If you notice decreased
tool performance or significantly shorter
running time between charges then it is
time to replace the battery pack. Failure to
d o s o c a n c a u s e t h e t o o l t o o p e r a t e
improperly or damage the charger.
▶ Tool Lubrication
Y o u r B o s c h t o o l h a s b e e n p r o p e r l y
lubricated and is ready for use.
▶ Motors
T h e m o t o r i n y o u r t o o l h a s b e e n
engineered for many hours of dependable
service. To maintain peak efficiency of the
motor, we recommend it be examined
every six months. Only a genuine Bosch
replacement motor specially designed for
your tool should be used.
▶ Cleaning
Certain cleaning agents
a n d s o l v e n t s d a m a g e
plastic parts.
Some of these are: gasoline,
car bon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning
s o l v e n t s ,
a m m o n i a
a n d
h o u s e h o l d
detergents that contain ammonia.
Ventilation openings and switch levers
must be kept clean and free of foreign
m a t t e r . D o n o t a t t e m p t t o c l e a n b y
inserting pointed objects through opening.

To avoid accidents, always disconnect the tool and/or charger from the
power supply before servicing or cleaning.
