Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
CAUSE

Motor does not start.
1.
Battery pack not charged.

Battery pack not installed
properly.
3.
Battery pack temperature is too
hot or cold for operation.

Electronic Motor Protection

Charge battery if needed.

Confirm battery is locked and
secured to the tool.

Let battery sit a few minutes or until
it reaches normal operating
temperature.

to desired position.

Pull the bevel lock forward to
unlock the head assembly.
Blade hits table.

Cannot rotate table to change
miter angle.

Miter lock knob is tightened.

Miter detent lever is engaged
with a detent (slot) in detent
plate.
3.
Sawdust accumulation.

Turn miter lock knob
counterclockwise to loosen.
2.
Pull up on miter detent lever to
disengage from detent slot (see
page 31).
3.
Vacuum or blow out dust around
turntable; wear eye protection.
Head assembly will not fully
raise or blade guard will not
fully close.

Head assembly lock pin is
engaged.

Sawdust accumulation.

Pull out lock pin, allowing head
