Installation detector box and cable
Please observe the following regulations when installing the sensor cable:
–
Fasten every 50 cm
–
The distance between sensor cable and ceilings or heat-transferring materials must be at
least 1 cm
–
The minimum bending radius of a sensor cable at a fastening point is 2.5 cm
–
Do not secure fastening clips too tightly
Wiring
Connecting sensor cable
Sensor cable ends A and B:
1.
Strip both cable ends by 15 mm. Do not damage the insulation around the four wires.
2.
Now strip the four wires by approx. 10 mm. Remove the coatings from the orange and red
wires.
Sensor cable end A:

Attach the four wires from cable end A to the control unit.
Sensor cable end B:
4.
Twist the white and orange wires together (1) and solder.
5.
Twist the blue and red wires together (1) and solder.
6.
Insulate the soldered connections with the heat-shrinkable tubes (2) and shrink on.
7.
Push back the white heat-shrinkable tube (3) and then push the black end cap (4) over all
four wire ends and shrink them on again.
8.
Connect the wires acoording the color at the respective interfaces 5-8 of the control unit.

CAUTION!
Cable breakage.
Installation at temperatures below 0 °C can cause the cable jacket to break.
X
Install the cable at temperatures above 0 °C and respect the minimum bending radius of
2.5 cm.
