General Information

Introduction

The EMMIT is a ruggedized touchscreen tablet equipped with the Android operating system. It is designed to dia-

gnose Infotainment systems using the vehicle‘s diagnostic/communication links.
The EMMIT has several modes of operation which can be found on the home screen. These modes will be explained 

in this manual.

Available tests for the Bluetooth function of the 
radio.

2 .  Back Button

• 

Returns to the previous page. The back button is 
not available on all screens.

3 .  Settings Button

• 

Change settings of the tool.

4 .  Veh . Batt

• 

When connected to the DLC battery voltage will 
be displayed.

5 .  Close Button

• 

Closes the EMMIT Application.

6 .  Vehicle Information

• 

Vehicle Data, VIN, Infotainment System, etc.

7 .  Aux Button

• 

Available tests for the AUX function of the radio.

8 .  USB Button

• 

Available tests for the USB function of the radio.

9 .  Power Button

• 

Power tool ON or OFF

10 . Home Button

• 

Minimizes app and opens Android central home 
screen.
