Activated carbon filter:
For neutralizing odours in recirculating mode.
Caution:
As the filter becomes more and more saturated with
grease, there is an increased risk of fire and the
function of the hood may be impaired.
Important:
Change the activated carbon filter promptly to pre -
vent the risk of fire from the accumulation of heat
when deep-fat frying or roasting.
These filters are not washable and cannot be regen -
erated, and must be replaced when the C -sign ap-
pears on the display or approximately every year of
operation, or more frequently with heavy usage.
Activation of the alarm signal

In the recycling version hoods the filter satura -
tion alarm must be activated during the installa-
tion or later.

Switch off the hood and the lights.

Disconnect the hood from the mains supply.

When restoring the connection press and hold
B -key.

When releasing the key two rotating rectangles
appear on the display.

Within 3 seconds press the B -key until a flash -
ing confirmation appears on the dispaly:

2 flashes with C -sign - charcoal filter satu -
ration alarm ACTIVATED

1 flash with C -sign - charcoal filter satura -
tion alarm DEACTIVATED.
Replacing the activated carbon filter
Reset of the alarm signal

Switch off the hood and the lighting.

Press the E -key until the display is unlit.
Replacing of the filter

Open the ducting panels pulling them down- Open the ducting panels pulling them down-
wards.

Remove the metal grease filters.


Remove the saturated charcoal filter by releas -
ing the fixing hooks.
Filters and maintenance

Fit the new filter and fasten it in its correct
position. Filter can be ordered at the customer
service

Put the metal grease filters in their seats.

Close the comfort panels.
Disposal of the old activated carbon filter:

Activated carbon filters do not contain any
harmful substances. They can be disposed of
as residual waste.
