Fig. 14: Power supply circuit diagram
The control device is supplied with power by way of the
external terminals (X4-X6) on the EPS switch cabinet.
!
Never disconnect or connect the control device
power supply with the test bench switched on as
this could destroy the trigger PCB.
Switch off the test bench at the master switch
before disconnecting or re-connecting the power
supply.
1.
Check for proper connection of the power supply
cable (X4).
2.
Check the output voltage (12 V and 24 V) at the
external terminals (X4-X6) on the EPS switch
cabinet.
If voltage is not being applied:
$
Activate the automatic circuit breakers (F6 / F7).
$
Check the internal power supply of the EPS
on the basis of the EPS servicing instructions
1 689 975 140.
3.
Check the fuses F1, F2 and F3 on the trigger PCB.
4.
Check the power supply cable 1 684 465 485 (X4)
for continuity.
5.
Check the connecting cable 1 684 465 484 (X7)
to the rail DRVs for continuity.
6.
Perform electrical checking of the rail DRVs
(refer to Section 5.3.1).
7.
Replace the trigger PCB (A10.1).
