Insert the guide sleeve (Fig. 40, item 1) in the injec-
tion chamber.
5.
Secure the guide sleeve with the knurled screw
(refer to item 40, item 3).

5.2.2
Clamping injector
1.
Check the knurled nut (Fig. 41, item 2) for correct
positioning (see sec. 4.7).
2.
Set the holding device to the size of the injector
(Fig. 41, item 3). To do so, adjust the clamping jaws
by way of the adjusting screw (refer to Fig 5, item 2)
such that the injector can still be moved.
3.
Insert the appropriate guide sleeve (Fig. 41, item 3)
in the injection chamber (Fig. 41, item 2).

Insert the holding device (Fig. 42, item 5) in the
guide of the injector holder (Fig. 42, item 6). Make
sure the clamping bush is neither too small nor too
large.
5.
Slip a suitable clamping bush (Fig. 42, item 1) over
the nozzle retaining nut of the injector.
6.
Insert the injector (Fig. 42, item 6) in the holding
device (Fig. 42, item 7).
7.
Release the operating lever (Fig. 42, item 1).
8.
Insert the clamping bush (Fig. 42, item 5) in the
mount (Fig. 42, item 3).
9.
Turn the injector (Fig. 42, item 6) until the high-pres-
sure connection is facing the rear.
10.
Tighten the hexagon socket head bolt (Fig. 42,
item 4).

11.
Press the clamping piece (Fig. 43, item 3) and injec-
tion chamber (Fig. 43, item 1) upwards against the
nozzle retaining nut of the injector (Fig. 43, item 5).
The injector must not have any axial play.
12.
Tighten the handwheel (refer to item 43, item 4)
13.
Press down the lever (Fig. 43, item2) to press on the
injection chamber.
