3.6.10 High-pressure hose 1 680 712 325
The high-pressure hose 1 680 712 325 (color: red) con-
nects the distributor rail to the high-pressure rail
(220 MPa) of the tester set CRS 845H.

For connection to a 180 MPa high-pressure rail,
use must be made of the high-pressure hose
1 680 712 227 with the adapter 1 681 032 094 in-
stead of the high-pressure hose 1 680 712 325. The
adapter 1 681 032 094 is available separately.

Replace high-pressure hoses (operating pressure
greater than 60 bar) after 3 years (refer to date of
manufacture on high-pressure hose) even if there
are no apparent defects of relevance to safety.
Heed the following on connecting the high-pressure hose:

Before connecting, clean the sealing cone on the
high-pressure rail / high-pressure pump. The mini-
mum bending radius of r = 200 mm must be ob-
served. Small bending radii reduce the cross-section
of the high-pressure hose. The bending radius
should not start at the fitting holder but rather ap-
prox. 20 mm away from it.

It must be ensured that the high-pressure hose does
not come into contact with other hoses or objects
during operation.
R
Always observe the specified tightening torque on
connection. Never re-tighten the screw connection
in the event of a leak.
Permitted tightening torque: 25 – 30 Nm
Permissible operating pressure: Max. 250 MPa
Permissible operating medium: Test oil as per ISO 4113
Permissible operating temperature: 20°C – 100°C
3.6.11 Hose line for return quantity

The return quantity hoses are included in the parts
set 1 687 016 035 and are only required for connect-
ing the tester set CRI/CRIN 848H to the EPS 815.
The return quantity hose connects the injector return to
the KMA.

The injected quantity hoses are included in the parts
set 1 687 016 035.
The injected quantity hose connects the injection
chamber to the CRI/CRI piezo injected quantity connec-
tion on the EPS 708 or the "IN" connection of the heat
exchanger on the EPS 815.

Flow direction (Fr) must be noted before connect-
ing.
