Protection against excess
temperatures
Your hob has a protection system for your timer's
electronics. When high temperatures are reached in the
timer electronics, the
•
message will be shown
alternately with the information on the programmes in
progress and the burners will stay on. If the temperature
drops to acceptable levels, the
•
message will disappear.
If the temperatures reach the maximum permitted limits,
the timer will switch off all the burners on the hob as a
protective measure, and the display will alternately show
the
•
message and the times remaining for the
programmes that were in progress and have been
stopped. The controls will be locked until the temperature
falls and reaches acceptable levels.
Wait a few minutes before using your hob again.
Protection against power
failures
If your timer has a programme in progress and there is a
power failure, the programmed burners will be turned off
as a means of protection. As soon as the power supply
returns, the display will show the
˜‹
message. To be able
to use the timer once more, touch any of the symbols and
the display will turn off and your hob will be ready to be
programmed.
The
˜‹
message also appears the first time the hob is
connected to the power supply. To start using the timer,
touch any of the symbols and the display will turn off and
your hob will be ready to be programmed.
Notes
A whistle sounds when water is spilt on any of the
sensors.
The system will not work if it is handled with wet hands.
