Timer operation
The timer is an electronic timer that is used to programme
a countdown timer and two cooking timers for the hob
burners.
The countdown timer may be used independently of other
services. This means that it can be programmed even
when the hob is turned off.
Cooking timers may be used to automatically turn off any
of the hob burners.
Countdown timer
You can use this function to programme a time of up to
99 minutes. This service may be used independently of
other services. THE COUNTDOWN TIMER DOES NOT
TURN OFF ANY BURNER.
Programming procedure
1. Touch the
0
symbol once. The display will show the
following image:

2. Touch the - or + symbols in the following 5 seconds to
programme the required time.
The countdown will commence after a few seconds.
The display will always show the time remaining for the
first programme to finish.
When the programmed time
has elapsed
A beep will sound for 30 seconds and
‹‹
V
is shown on
the display.
Touch any symbol and the beep stops and the display
switches off.
Changing the programmed
time
Touch the
0
symbol and change the time using - or + in
the following 5 seconds.
The new time programmed will begin after a few seconds.
Cancelling the programme
Touch the
0
symbol and change the time to
‹‹
V
using
the - or + symbols.
The indicator disappears after a few seconds or will show
the time remaining in the following programme.
Note
The countdown timer does not continue after a power
failure.
It can programme a duration of up to 99 minutes.
