Error code

Error or protection type

Note

1

E0

Outdoor unit communication error

Only displays on auxiliary unit

2

E1

Phase error

3

E2

Communication error with indoor unit

Should there be no communication after 20 minutes from
when the unit is first powered up or no communication for
longer than 2 minutes after the 20 minutes initial power up

4

E4

Outdoor temp. sensor error

5

E5

Voltage protection

6

E7

Discharge sensor error

Once the unit has run for 10 minutes, the unit will allow a
discharge temperature of less than 15 degrees at a pressure
of more than 3.5MPa for 2 minutes.  After 2 minutes the
unit will fault and will have to be powered off/ on to reset the
fault.

7

E8

Outdoor unit address error

8

xE9

S11 setting does not match the capacity

9

xH0

Communication error between DSP and main chip

X represents a system, 1 is

A system

, 2 is B system

10

H1

Communication error between 0537 and main chip

X represents a system, 1 is

A system

, 2 is B system

11

H2

Qty. of outdoor units decreases error

Only displayed on main unit

12

H3

Qty. of outdoor units increases error

Only displayed on main unit

13

xH4

P6 protection has been activated 3 times in 60 minutes

Must restart electrical power supply to unit to clear the fault

14

H5

P2 protection has been activated 3 times in 60 minutes.

Must restart electrical power supply to unit to clear the fault

15

H6

P4 protection has been activated 3 times in 100 minutes.

Must restart electrical power supply to unit to clear the fault

16

H7

Qty. of indoor units not recognised

Indoor units communication lost for more than 3

 munites

Fault will no clear until the quantity of units are recovered

17

H8

High pressure sensor error

Air discharging pressure Pc

≤ 0.3MPa

18

H9

P9 protection has been activated 3 times in 60 minutes

Must restart electrical power supply to unit to clear the fault

19

C7

PL protection has been activated 3 times in 100 minutes.

Must restart electrical power supply to unit to clear the fault

20

X represents an auxiliary unit

21

P0

Inverter compressor maximum temp. protection

22

P1

High pressure protection

23

P2

Low pressure protection

Should ‘P2’ fault occur more than 3 times in 60 minutes, the
unit will then display ‘H5’ fault

24

xP3

Compressor current protection

X represents a system, 1 is

A system

, 2 is B system

25

P4

Discharge temp. protection

Should ‘P6’ fault occur more than 3 times in 100 minutes,
the unit will then display ‘H6’ fault

26

P5

High condenser temp. protection

27

x (P6)

Inverter module protection

X represents a system, 1 is

A system

, 2 is B system. Should

‘P6’ fault occur more than 3 times in 60 minutes, then the
unit will display a ‘H4’ fault.  If ‘H4’ fault is displayed for more
than 10 minutes, then ‘xP6’ fault will be displayed

28

P7

Main inverter current protection

29

P8

Auxiliary inverter current protection

30

P9

DC fan protection

Should ‘P9’ fault occur more than 3 times in 60 minutes, the
unit will then display ‘H9’ fault

31
