3. Product description
3.1
Application
The high-performance rapid-start charger BSL 2470
(with electronic WU characteristic regulation and ad-
justable battery charge current) can be used to charge
standard batteries and absolutely maintenance free bat-
teries, along with exhaustive discharge batteries with
battery capacities of 36 Ah to 400 Ah. With the rapid-
start charger you can also start up vehicles equipped
with sensitive electronic circuits.
The BSL 2470 is designed for use in automotive work-
shops, at the German Technical Inspection Agency
(TÜV), used-car dealers, motor-vehicle fleets and filling
stations.

The rapid-start charger is only suited for charging
standard and absolutely maintenance-free lead-acid
batteries in perfect working order with nominal volt-
ages of 12 V and 24 V.
