4 Operating the chair
4.1 Moving and braking
The chair is fitted with four wheels. The rear small wheels rotate around their
axis and are braked simultaneously using the central brake (versions SLA-AX,
SLA-CX, SLA-DX, SLA-IX a SLA-JX). Braking is initiated by stepping on the
central brake footrest. The SLA-MX version is not equipped with a central brake
and therefore its rear wheels must be braked independently.
It is released by lifting the pedal of central brake.
