When cleaning, the hobs and hob extractor must be
switched off or the hobs must be cooled down.
The hob extractor must never be cleaned with steam
cleaning equipment or anything similar!
Ensure when cleaning that the Plus/Minus buttons
are wiped only briefly. Inadvertent switching on of
the unit is thus avoided.
Cleaning the surfaces regularly saves subsequent
tiresome removal of the persistent dirt.
Use only a sponge or a soft cloth, water and
a suitable cleaning agent or maintenance product
for cleaning the surface of the hob extractor.
Using agents having a protective effect is
recommended as the protective film protects
the surface from persistent dirt and damage.
Never clean the surface with abrasive cleaning
agents, sharp objects, scratching scouring pads or
metal wool.
Caution: These cleaning agents may not be used:
Under no circumstances may the stainless-steel
surfaces be cleaned with scouring cleaning agents,
abrasive multipurpose scouring sponges, steel wool, or
the like. These could damage the surface.
Harsh chemical cleaning agents, such as oven
cleaners, stain removers as well as rust removers and
cleaning agents for dishwashers, may not be used.
The use of cleaning agents containing soda, caustic
solutions, ammonia, acids or chloride is still prohibited.
Ensure that the cleaning agents you use contain no
chlorides, acids, salts or similarly aggressive
ingredients. Otherwise these could attack the surface
of the product.
The surface of the hob extractor can be damaged due
to improper handling/cleaning.
When cleaning the hob extractor ensure that force
is not transferred to the connected duct components
(e.g. substructure), as otherwise there is a risk that
duct parts may loosen from the hob extractor frame.
