3.1 COOKING TOPS
3.1.1 ASSEMBLY WHEN CANTILEVERED FROM A WALL
Procedure
- Fix the wall brackets very solidly to the wall in the positions indicated below.

Each bracket must be able to support a force of 400 deca Newtons. All units (500, 1000 or
1500mm wide) have 2 brackets.
It is advisable when fixing to a concrete wall to respect the following recommendations:
- The reinforced concrete wall should be at least 23 Mega Pascal (DTU norm).
- Use heavy duty 12 x 40 rawlplugs (6 are required for cooking equipment).
- The required hole for such rawlplugs should be 12mm diameter and 72mm deep (NOTE: the
minimum distance between a rawlplug hole and any edge of the wall must be at least 95mm).
