If AHD-WNL is equipped with a switch (see Chapter 4.4.3), the
switch is used to power it on.
If the industrial PC’s power supply is established, the green LED
on right side of
the power supply’s connector is lit.
An existing LAN connection is indicated by the LEDs at the indus-
trial PC’s LAN ports.
7.10 Verification
To verify that the unit is powered on, an authorized client with in-
stalled AHD-IAMCS can be used, or the administration page can
be launched via AHD-WNL
’s LAN2 port (see Chapter 7.10.1).
7.10.1 Access to the Administration Page
To check AHD-WNL
’s functions, you can access its administration
page via the industrial
PC’s LAN2 port.
Launch AHD-WNL
’s administration page as described in items 1-5
in the section
“Procedure” of Chapter 8.4.1.
To check the function, launch the page “Export Valuedata” or “Ex-
port Events” and verify that AHD-WBL is logging values and
events. If AHD-WNL is logging values and events, its administra-
tion
pages display “Online” next to “Connection State” in the upper
right.
7.11 Powering Off AHD-WNL
If AHD-WNL is equipped with a switch, it can be switched off with
the switch. Otherwise, it is powered off by switching off its power
supply.
In the default setting, AHD-WNL shuts down 5 minutes after
switching off the ignition signal (IGN) or the power supply.
If the system is configured accordingly, AHD-WNL
’s power off can
be reported.
During AHD-WNL
’s failure, AHD-IAMCS displays the login page.
